Walter is an endearing fellow, impulsive, headstrong, funny and naïve all at the same time. He travels the world over with his faithful sidekick Tandoori, a hyperactive chicken, all the while trying to recapture the peacefulness of his home setting. Discreet by nature, he would gladly keep a low profile if it weren't for the diverse incidents with environmental implications that disrupt his journey. The two partners rely on their outrageous imagination to overcome these pitfalls. Their everyday lives become an obstacle course.

Walter & Tandoori Broadcast on Radio-Canada

Corporation Image Entertainment is pleased to announce the launch of the first ecological multiplatform project with the animated television series WALTER & TANDOORI in collaboration with the French-language network Radio Canada, starting August 14, 2010. The series will be broadcast every Saturday morning, starting at 8:30 am. The television launch of the series will be backed up by the interactive website called WALTERRE, a French word play on earth/terre: www.radio-canada.ca/jeunesse/walterettandoori. To continue the adventures contained in the series, the website invites participants to play mini games with ecological themes on their own or with other visitors to the site as well as dialogue, create an avatar or a jaunt into the neighbourhood of our two favourite characters, all the while accumulating eco points which will serve to make our planet more green. In addition, users will be able to continue to watch the webisodes on the Radio-Canada website.
